Prostate cancer is one of the diseases most feared by men and unfortunately in some countries is the first cause of male mortality. This type of cancer develops in the glands of the male reproductive system and mostly affects males over the age of 50 years and if not controlled in time can spread to the bones, lymph nodes and other parts of the body. Many men never have symptoms that reveal the presence of prostate cancer, so that after 40 years, an annual checkup is recommended.
