Over two-thirds of our customers are existing hair system wearers; customers who became dissatisfied with their existing supplier; jumped ship and hopped aboard the trusty, reliable and superior Hair Hub.
If you’re still locked-in to a restrictive salon contract and/or are struggling to justify the £1000+ charges many hair replacement salons charge, you may wish to consider jumping ship too. It’s much easier than you may have been led to believe.
The £1500 hair-graft-matrix-cyber-alternative-waffle waffle-hairpiece your salon sells you is EXACTLY the same product we sell. But, we’re not big fans of ridiculous jargon; we’re keen to pull back the hairy curtain of deception and mystique encircling the hair loss industry. We make bespoke hairpieces, or hair replacement systems, as they are most commonly known. And whilst the quality of hair systems will vary enormously between each supplier, the product is essentially the same – human or synthetic hair woven onto a particular base material, such as lace or polyurethane. Let’s send the cheesy pseudo-scientific descriptions back to the 70s. A hairpiece is a hairpiece, no matter what crazy name it’s given.
So, if we’re making the same products, why are we charging £245 per hair system and ‘Dr. Antonio Bonio MD’ is charging £2000, plus £150 for a clean-up? Because he’s a robbing ****, you say? Well, quite possibly, but most probably is that Dr.Bonio has the sleekest of sleek centrally located salons; with a team of staff to massage your shoulders and provide you with a tantalising array of hors d’oeuvre and Bellinis. Oh. This doesn’t sound like your salon? Your ‘salon’ is a grimy, pokey-hole of a place, where you’d be lucky to be given a Rich Tea and a PG Tips in a chipped Midland Bank mug for your £2000? Hmm, well, in that case, you are being ripped off.
Hair Hub was created to provide the alternative solution to the reams of unethical chopsy salesmen flogging hair systems via salons and online. We also wanted to charge a realistic and affordable price for a new head of hair. It is sheer exploitation to charge thousands of pounds for a hairpiece, even if the salon is in Mayfair. It’s simply not right.
We also wanted to simplify the entire process; ordering is as straightforward as sending in your existing or spare hair system and arranging a time for us to call you to discuss your customisation requirements. If you cannot send in a current system, you can easily make your own template – our guide will show you how. Alternatively, you can meet one of our affiliated salons across the UK, who can make a template for you, and advise on the best hair system for your lifestyle and budget.
Other than visiting a stylist to cut-in your new hair system, and popping-in for regular trims to ensure your existing hair blends with your system, you can do all the maintenance yourself at home. You do not need to visit a hair replacement salon to clean your scalp and re-bond your system, you can easily manage this yourself for free. You can call us for help, read through the many helpful posts on this blog or browse the tutorials on the Hair Hub website. I assure you, it’s lemon-squeezy easy.
If you’d like to switch suppliers, but you’re feeling wobbly, drop us a line on 0800 014 8085 between 9am & 5pm, Monday – Friday. We’ll guide you through the move and when you’re ready, we’ll be here to welcome you aboard.
Have a great day.
